    it depends on the type...
    some acroporas grow in a tabling formation which is really flat and wide. others grow into a triangle, and a few grow into long branching formations.

    montipora digitata always grow in branching.

    If you know the names of your new corals then i can tell you specifically how their growth pattern is ;)

    well the pack that im buying is pretty much luck of the draw im gonna buy 8 peices just wanted to know wht to do with them from the look of the picture there branch like :D its 40 bucks for 4 i think thats ok

    looks like most of them are branching types...
    the birdsnest will tend to grow in a triangle unless its in super low flow.
    there could be one or two tabling ones in the back.

    If you post pics when you get them ill help you out with placement
