I actually clean mine with a magfloat and toothbrush.
ha ha I did not see toothbrush mentioned in article, I think you are ok with that just do not brush to hard
Hey Kung I appreciate your opinion and it is an interesting article (thanks for bringing it up).
Yes, microplastics are a real issue in the ocean. clothing, beads in soaps, degradation from landfill setc. are really contaminating the ocean. Honestly, I think, whether by nature or bioengineering, certain organsims will use these poly-chains to construct a form of reef.
Ya, facial scrub, who would have thought lol.. I'd be curious to see what sort of interactions there are long-term. I know I've seen the plastic bag stuff in the ocean is being consumed by bacteria finally albeit it not fast enough to not call the plastics pollution. I found the mussel research pretty startling. I know with humans they say don't ingest the ME because it can get caught up and block the GI tract.
P.S. I only swallow Majic erasers on dollar beer night.lol
Good to know Vinny! Sounds to me like a simple solution to a complex problem. Well played!
How could you not believe that? Have you seen the studies on just that low levels of different medicines alone from people disposing of them in the toilet, and getting into our water systems?
Just remember the saying from 'Finding Nemo', all drains lead to the ocean!
Good day, to one and all!
Vinny, dude, LOL!
