    i have some sponge that looks like that but not that color.i have black,purple,and a lime green one they all encrust and i only see the tubes from time to time.deffinately not a lettice nudibranch since i don't think they live 6 months in captivity.there are so many hundreds of types of squirts and tunicates that it could be one,they grow in colonies,but more like a sponge to me.it it grows like a mat then i would think sponge
