Ok, I got a magnifying app and combined the suggestions from everyone here. Now that my father is out of the hospital i can relax a little and get back in the groove. I uploaded all the pics I tried to take since they all had a bit different settings.

The coral is loving the new fixture and is growing fast. Im attaching the pics next:

And I've reached my attachment limit. Hope that will work to help id this guy. Thank u again and sorry for the delay.

Yes... i should not have doubted your initial guess. The more it grows the more it looks like it wants to take on that cauliflower shape. The little "veins" on it match as well. Maybe a mint pavona or frondifera?

Yup; everything about that structure screams Pavona.

Thank you, Cheryl. We did have a huge scare with my dad. Im glad I can relax a bit now.

Thank u all for helping with the id of this Pavona... ill be now looking to see if I can find one like it for more info on it. This guy does not look like it has any polyps at all. But thats ok. I like to see the structure itself since it looks really cool.

I cant wait to get back to growing some good looking SPS . A friend of mine gifted me a fox flame acro frag and my water/lights were not up to par... he sold it, even though I asked him to keep it for me for a while. I missed out on a very nice frag, but I would not have been able to care for it. I could now though.
