    Pachyseris Coral

I don't know much about it. Live Aquaria says high light and high flow.

That was going to be my second choice. You do not see Elephant Skin Coral much any more.

It has no PE for a pavona. Im also inclined to RavenSF and your second choice... it looks like it would be in the pachyseris bunch. However, I cant find an exact match when it comes to the look of the ridges it has formed on the top.
The main thing is the light and flow and due to having no PE at all im also inclined to the high flow spot.

I've had this frag for about a year. It used to be near the top and doing ok. My LFS was taking care of it while I worked on getting my lights and levels and they had it placed under MH's. Part of the top that is showing die off is the original drag.

I will keep looking at pictures to see if I can find a match on the growth formations it shows. Not only because it will boggle my mind not knowing, it would not b the first unknown coral I put in there, but it would also b nice to know exactly what it is :)

It is very similar. Only that mine does not have any PE at all. Never seen it extend even at feeding time. All it does is that it starts opening eyes. Corailline may be right since some pavona do not display any Polyp Extension.

I guess the important thing is that either or, they like high flow and high light ;-)

That's what I thought when I first saw it, I also thought pavona but I did not think of the pachy coral (cause I didn't know about it! hehe)
