I would go to reef crystals if you have corals plus it mixes so easy. I'm gonna try salinity by aquavitro when I run out of RC. I spoke with a seachem rep and really like what they said about the salt. I use the aquavitro line of supplements in my reef and love it. Been stable and great for well over a year now.

I use salinity DSC and I really like it. It mixes very easily.

In terms of pests, no Asian beetles here (at least not an abundance to be a problem) but the dreaded STINK BUGS continue to plague my house and tank! I really wish my fish loved live bugs because they would be unbelievably fat and happy. They are similar to the beetles in that they are attracted to light and of course, my tank is the brightest beacon in the room!

I have beetles, but not inside; at least not 10 lol. They are miserable (outside) in Florida come summer.
