    LOL.

    I too am not big on chalices as i enjoy watching the wave motion of my corals as they sway. But i think they would be cool if in a large colony or in a smaller tank... but i do see the draw of having one if you like having nice solid bright colors..

    Just look at the 3 UWW chalices here. They're insanely colorful corals.

    I do agree that the prices are kinda insane on the nicest ones (350 for a 1/2" to 1" piece of that jersey diesel on the link lol), but they grow slowly, so I can kinda understand it.

    All of those are my colonies and they are my pictures that I took except the 2nd picture. It belong to a buddy of mine. I have a piece 1/4 that size on the 2nd pictures.

    Chalices are awesome corals, nothing else grows in a pattern like a chalice, they will actually grow into a "shelf" its pretty sick..... I deffinatly agree they are over priced! It will get better as they become more common though...

    Hey Steve! I'll ship you a chalice if you want, the LFS I go to has some alright ones for like 20-30 per frag... and I know the owner pretty well so if you give me colors your looking for I can take pics and email them to you for approval lol... idk just an idea, let me know

    Oh and I do have a few chalices, nothing rare or anything though
