hydrogen cells produce hydrogen..... its like putting an alka-seltzer in a cup of water. POW you have a hydrogen cell. and you can store hydrogen its just a gas like oxygen but more deadly

You must use a binder. Basically, a media that can hold and release the media on demand.

    Edit:

Here is a link to a company that I have been watching for several years now.

you can make one at home. (but dont) take a battery put positive in water put negative in water the bubbles that come off the positive are hydrogen gas the ones that come off the negative are oxygen. thats basically a fuel cell. they then take the evaporated hydrogen and inject it into a vehicles intake manifold essentially eliminating fuel (gasoline/diesel) injection

Ok, this is all about using hydrogen in an ICE. Simply replacing gasoline for hydrogen. I dont believe this is what a hydrogen fuel cell really is. Pretty sure a fuel cell replaces a battery in an electric engine.

    As quoted from site:

This new generation of vehicles are essentially electric cars that use a Fuel Cell instead of a battery to run the electric motor. Using a chemical process, Fuel Cells in these new vehicles convert the stored Hydrogen on board, and the Oxygen in the air, directly into electricity to power their electric motors. These new Hydrogen powered electric vehicles are very efficient, and in fact are more efficient than any internal combustion engine. The problem is that these new vehicles are years away from production, are very expensive, and converting to using Hydrogen fuel in this manner requires you to buy a new ( and expensive ) vehicle. All Hydrogen/Fuel Cell systems currently under development by large manufacturers have you purchase Hydrogen as you would Gasoline.

basically a battery.... if only someone invented that hundreds of years ago...

Because it uses the energy in fuel as stored electricity. Kinda like how lithium batteries hold energy but instead of just pluging them into the wall you refill the tank.
