I can give you my settings. I do not use the director, I use the old controller. I have an 80 gallon shallow reef.
my intensities are very high for a shallow tank. I took oh 3 months of acclimation. I find keeping the UV low works better for me.

I use the manual time settings:

    8am start. 4 hour ramp
    White: 28
    Red: 20
    Green 20
    Violet: 45
    Blue: 60
    Royal: 50
    UV: 28

    2pm: 30 minute ramp
    white: 40
    Blue: 75
    Royal: 80
    UV: 39

    5pm: 3 hour ramp
    All colors 0
    except
    Blue: 2
    Royal: 1

    3am: all lights off

Thanks I am not sure if I mentioned this earlier. Right now I'm keeping various zoa polyps up high, green goblin acan down low and a purple tip frogspawn

Don't sweat it. Corals don't grow that fast. You won't notice any growth in a span of days. But you also have to keep in mind acclimation isn't a 1 day process. They take a lil more time to fully adjust to our tanks.
Your system is still young too. Once it matures and stabilizes, your growth should be at a faster pace.

How long do most people run the 52's per day as well as how long do most people ramp up and down.

Let me start here and then focus on the intensity.

I don't know too many Hydra52 users, but regardless of what lights you have, people usually time their lights around their schedules so they can enjoy the tank at their leisure.

I think that's the beauty of controllable LEDS. If you work 14 hours a day, you can program the schedule to work for you. Slowly the corals will adjust to the new schedule.

I use a 4 hour ramp up in the morning so the corals don't get blasted at max intensity for 12 hours. That gives me enough light to look over the tank. So from 8am, it takes 4 hours to reach the max intensity. I'm usually home by 630ish, and my moonlights don't turn on until 8pm. That gives me an hour and a half to look over the tank, feed, etc.
