Wound up getting two #4's and One Nano Koralia...

Turns out 1 #4 was more then enough to meet desired flow needs in main tank. (So now I also have a "backup")

Makes all the difference in the world having little one in Nano.

    Am happy.

    Thanks all for above.

(Jason, will try Maxijet Mod when need an upgrade...)

do u think two #3 would be too much? it was originally suggested i get two #1 but it didnt sound rite..they said too much flow would be hard for fish to swim around..where do u have your koralias located? thanks a lot

Don't know size of your tank, nor what kind of present flow you have.

Size pump needed depends much on above.

I added mine because I needed to redirect existing flow and get some additional surface water turbulence.

You may just need one #4 instead of (2) #3's.

    Again, hard to say. :-/

He's got one side high, pretty much for surface agitation then the rio in about the middle on same side, and on other side he has other koralia a lil' low but not on bottom of tank. gives him flow e-where, no dead spots.

That was a little confusing. I have 2- #3 Koralias and 2-#4 Koralias.

I run the 2-#4s and 1-#3 and keep the last one as a spare.

My tank is a 90 gal and the flow coupled with the return pump is 35-40 times tank volume.
