I have had this horn coral for about 6 months, and I recently thought maybe I got burnt and bought a painted dead coral. But I suprised it one night and saw tenticles all over it. During the day it is bright green and beutiful but doesnt ever show any signs of life. Is this normal for this type of coral?

If it's green and you are seeing tentacles it's fine.

It requires intense light and is potent in its toxic make up so be careful housing it near other corals!
It should appear furry or hairy in appearance with full expansion and a healthy specimen.
