How to Mod the Sea Clone

    I found a plastic tube a tad smaller that the air line and used than to keep the air diffuser in place

    Back in the day, a Seaclone was an upgrade for me, coming off a Sander Picollo air driven skimmer in a 4ft softie set up
    the Seaclone performed better than the air driven product it replaced
    and I was very happy with it, for the price I paid compared to the options at the time

    I have seen worse performing skimmers than the Seaclone on dealers tanks
    no names, but Boyu they are dissapointing, some of them scare the be- jebo out of me . luckily I hazoo not got any of those ones

    no I remember those days too like. Now I think its safe to say, your water is in bad shape if you can more skim-mate with a air block mod. :p

    although I must say that bioball mod was pretty interesting.

    Wait so, you replaced the inner tube so it was smaller? the wood diffuser is spinning a lot but i don't think its really effecting it

    My air diffuser wont stop spinning,am supposed to glue it down?

    plastic tube almost like the air line just doesn't bend, I'll post a pic of what I used to keep my air diffuser down, it will be a little later though

    Huh, and here I thought I was the only one here still using one. LOL. It does what it needs too. Been running for 4 years without a problem, it went from my 29gal to my frag/QT tank.
