And I thought I got a little creeped out when my new little Emerald Crab crawled on my hand as I added him to the tank. That, that, monster you had there would have certainly made for an interesting day! LOL Glad you saved the dog, though. They are usually reef safe, after all. ;)

Yes, dogs are reef safe however, I discovered my tiny toy Poms had a lot of PH in them and their readings for Nitrates wasn't the best either.

Found that out after they chewed the lid off a brand new box of test strips that I kept on my end table next to my chair.

I found it out after I came home and found out the 5 of them had been licking the strips and had them scattered around the house. The colors were super high. Too much PH and Nitrates.

    Cheryl,

    You're a certifiable nut!!! LOL

I have a small dark circle on my back due to a brown recluse. Luckily the bite was detected quickly so the necrosis didn't have a long time to spread. Schackmel is a nurse so she was the lucky person that had to remove the dead tissue prior to using topical antibiotic creams. It hurt like the ****ens!!

Ahh I was bit on the arm by a recluse a few months back. It was disgusting. One of the worst pains I've ever had no doubt. I have the knarliest scar from it, that venom is freakin potent. I did get workers comp though since it happened at work lol, so it wasn't all bad haha.
