    Now I'm no expert, but I assume the boots are due to the snakes right? If so wouldn't make sense to have pants instead of shorts? LOL

    South texas. Relatively close to the border, kinda out in the boonies. Its usually not that green, it was after they had gotten a TON of rain and everything was out and about. I was close to 9ft and every bit as thick as my leg. He's holding it out a little bit there obviously, but you can look at it's head in comparison to my uncles body. A rattler that big can kill you reallllll quick.

    Well. I live in Texas.. Not massachusetts anddd its 100+ degree's easy in South Texas. So jeans are pretty much out of the question, and yah the boots are snake boots. Down there its pretty much a necessity. Besides I'm pretty sure a snake can bite through pants. haha
