It's the newly discovered Beatle fish. Reef compatible with caution. Not compatible with Cheryl's BF according to the chart. j/K ;D

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I believe it's a common Palo Verde Boring Beetle, can get 3 inches, this one was. Can deliver a painful bite.

Very nice! I actually found a centipede crawling up my neck once while I was in the shower and it really freaked me out... Now I hate those little things :(

    Very funny. Exactly.

Now that is an eww factor. I do not want anything crawling on me. It's almost tarantula time here. Another large insect that sends people screaming. But alas I have already desensitized the BF to those. ::)

He was on the walk way about to bite a little dogs nose. I find one or two a year. When they fly there about the size of a sparrow.

    Thanks starfish2217,

Yea they get some cool June Beetles where ever there are evergreen trees. Sometimes I take a sheet and hang it over a wire and shine a bright light over it, back light, at night. You get some great stuff that way, and then the bats come to eat all the great stuff. Glad someone else understands.:)

I totally understand, I really love bugs they are so interesting I even considered becoming an entomologist, but decided the field for that in utah wouldn't be so hot... plus we don't really have cool bugs here they are all back east. I found one of these caterpillars once, it was the coolest thing I had ever seen! I kept it in a little tin for a while and it made a cacooon, I was rather sad haha.
