How to get rid of Hair Algae?????

    Hey guys,

    So I had a ton of hair algae, but my cuc has got most of it covered on the rocks. THe only place they can't reach is my intank refugium, where the chaeto is covered with hair algae. Would a lawnmower blenny help with this?

    Just tear out the GHA, if your going to have GHA the best place would be the fuge. The real problem here is whats causing the GHA.....adding a fish wont fix this.

    i would check your phosphate levels... like skurious said you need to fix the problem, don't just add a band aid. It'll prove more beneficial in the long run to figure out whats causing it now.

    Yeah in your fuge not a big deal. Kevin has it ALL OVER his 265... barely has enough tangs to keep it contained.

    Sorry, I was really confused until I googled GHA to see if it was what I was talking about. Turns out its not GHA it's some other type of brown algae (not diatoms) that coats everything I'll upload pics soon.

    Alex is highly jealous that one of my tangs is an Achilles..which his itty bitty tank can't fit....lol
