I know of people that feed their tanks 4-5 times a day and some people who only feed every week, so I was just curious to know: What's their average natural feeding schedule?

The majority of fish spend all day hunting and catching their "one meal". Most can adapt to getting their belly full once or twice per day without fear of predation.

So should I be feeding daily instead of every 3 days?

IMHO, yes. I feed as much as my fish can eat in 2 - 3 minutes, twice per day. I also maintain a large CuC to clean up leftovers.

Thanks. I wonder why my LFS told me to feed every 3 days  I'll start feeding more now :)

Depends on the fish. Predators will hunt for a meal or two a day. But the vast majority of reef fishes eat all day every day non stop.

If you are going to feed your fish everyday now, this piece is very important. Make sure you have an adequate CuC for your tank.

The more you feed the more careful you have to be with leftover food/over feeding, keep up on the water changes. This can cause algae blooms or other issues.

feed as much as your tank can support. feed a little more than what your feeding now, just a little bit, and keep increasing it untill you start to see signs of po4, or algea, then cut it back down just a bit, OR until your fish stop eating. which ever comes frist. each tank is differnt, some one with my exact setup could be able to feed way more than i do, but i only feed 2 frozen cubes, every other day.
