    Haha thanks cosmo! We actually have a bit of metal mesh that we used on a different tank. It isnt cut or fit to the tank yet, but it is ok! I need to design it to the tank, bit for now it is ok sinse we will be moving stuff soon anyways. Thanks though guys.

    Now, back to sand:)

    I would go with the DSB, take care of your nitrates with it lol. I would go 4-6 inches IMO.
