I've always believed 400-420nm wavelengths were important for corals. I had the same thing happen to my acans. One week under my Pros it was back to normal with patterns and colors. So I moved my G1s to my other 125 and am planning SPS

For sps, they all work great. From Gen 1 to Gen3 Pro. The question is if you want the violet LEDs for their fluorescing properties or not. As for needing violet, its not necessary. The best LED SPS tank I have seen runs a Gen 1 Radion at 100% all colors(yes green and red too). The second best LED SPS tank i've seen runs the Gen 2 Pro and also confirmed that he runs all colrs at 100%. I'm hanging out with Dr Sanjay Joshi all weekend. His presentation was very enlightening!
