How Long In The Hobby??????

    I've been researching stuff for the hobby and working at building a reef tank...for 3 years. haha. After several attempts, I have a 29g that has properly been up for 10 months (hey, today is exactly 10 months). I've never had a single coral. I've had one fish. Hopefully that will change by christmas. :)

    I joined 3 reef almost a year and a-half ago. I've gained almost all of my knowledge since I joined this place. Great forum.

    Just gotta say Seano... Thats crazy. Never had a coral and only one fish, but alot of knowledge. Props to you my friend. You have much more patience than I do. Haha.

    Thanks. Due to lack of funds, I haven't been able to have the best tank, for sure, but I try to stay as involved as I can, in the hobby. Helping people on the forum and also researching is how I do this.

    37 years for FOWLR (with inverts), 5 years for reef (true corals).

    ummm prob 5 yrs salt,and before that 10 ish yrs fresh..one thing I've learned is no matter how many yrs you have under your belt, you will always learn something new every day...

    Absolutely! Even today, scientific information concerning the welfare of our pets is constantly changing, as is the advancement in technology to assist us in providing the most suitable environment for them. :)
