How long does it usually take to start seeing new stuff?

Yeah, I may just do that.

Sheesh, I may be having to move across the country pretty soon so I will probably wait til things are concrete before putting any more effort in this past what I already have. Luckily I only have 1 fish in there and I can give him to someone with a good home. I think I'll be ok as long as I keep the rocks wet and keep water in the filter I should be ok if the tank is the first thing I put together when I get there.

 

Ouch, if your moving with the rocks in-tank make sure you brace them up

 

God, I'll have to get some help moving that beast. Gotta weigh about 300 pounds without water. I have contemplated staying here just for the fish tanks sake haha.

If I move the tank will be the first thing set up. I will also make sure to live on the ground floor of the apartment building.... stairs= suck
