    How high should I hang a 150 Watt metal halide fixture from my water on 20 gallon tall aquarium

    On the roof of your house.lol I would start at 8".

    I went ahead and started at 10". I'll lower it slowly.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I agree with Vinny 8-10 inches. If the lighting type is new or new bulb you want to start higher and acclimate the corals.
