how fast does pom pom xenia grow and where should it be placed in the tank

    I run Biopellets but other than that I am at a loss to why they won't grow in my set up. Glad you have it narrowed down.

    Just my .02, I think xenia do better with a little nitrates (thus my extreme success with their growth :)) and low nutrient systems seem to limit their growth - just my observation and hypothesis and m2434 says so :)

    I really think it likes alot of light and nutrients.I had it(pom pom )in my last tank, 44gal corner with 250w halide and due to me neglecting the tank and nutrients rising it literally took over the tank.It spread to every area that was getting good light,even to rocks that it wasn't touching and the glass.
