    Good luck with your move. I don't know the best way to move rock unless its in a insulated container of some sort. Mine was moved in the summer so temp wasn't too much of a concern for mine.

    I think you are smart to save the top of your sand and rinse the other thoroughly. I didn't do that and had all kinds of problems. I fianally got my sand bed changed out last night.
