How do you feed your zoanthids?

    Would not worry about the posion. Just be careful, wash hands, and keep them away from eyes, and don't touch eyes after handling.

    So true--but when I put in zooplakton, you should them pucker up. They seem to like it.

    I don't direct feed mine either and they multiply like crazy, when I feed my sun coral baby brine shrimp sometimes it gets over to the zoas and boy do they love it!!!

    Throw a handful of sugar in there....they'll react. Chemoreception doesn't mean they can actually eat it.

    This is no different than with SPS foods. Merely achieving PE (Polyp Extension) doesn't mean squat.

    Generally i don't feed mine, but occasionally when i feed my fish a peice of brine/mysis may fall on one. they seem to like it and devour it in no time.
