Homemade Two-Part Calcium and Alkalinity Additive System....MUST READ.

Jason do you use an Off gasser ? that will double the amount of effulient from the reactor. I just use a large section if 1.1/2 PVC about 10 inches long stood vertically in the sump and capped on the bottom and I shove the effulient discharge line to the bottom and fill the pipe with media. A air stone in the pipe will also near the top to help raise the CO'2 laden waters P.H

 

Some of use old mules need to be head whacked with a 2x4 to get our attention LOL Anytime you need me ?? If ever best to P/M me or just E/M me some weeks I may not reboot a computer..
