I got those snowflakes all over my glass again. :(

They seem to come and go, corals are completely unphased.

I don't have any fish, but I'd like to get some someday, are hydroids bad for fish?

It's unclear to me why people consider them bad other than their numbers.

Some hydroids can consume small (baby/fry) fish so they also can feed on your pods and such. They also can sting corals leading to possiable death of that coral. Describe your particular ones, maybe I have a solution for you.

Hmm.. they look like little transparent starfish almost.
They look like most pics I have seen of hydroids.
    Hard to describe.
