Hippo Tang Unusual Spots

I've had my Hippo for months since it was the size of a quarter, its now about the length of half a paper dollar maybe bigger. It developed 3 spots in the black stripe on the back, and the tail fin looked a little ratty. I pulled the tang into a hospital tank for about 2 weeks and treated with Miracin.

The spots remain. I know its a horrible picture, but its the best I got right at this second...Its not ich.


Any thoughts you have would be very helpful.
