I have had my tank up and running for about 6 months now. My nitrates are reading 25ppm and i haven't changed my set up at all. I have my heater in chamber one. In chamber two I have inTank media basket with floss, purigen, and chempure elite. I change my floss every other day. I also took out the sponge in chamber 3. I do a water change once a week If anyone has suggestions that would be great.

How big of a water change are you doing each week? What do you have in your tank? Also what are you feeding. Could be a few things - too high of a bio load, too much food, etc. It looks like you have the right dedication to this and are trying to do the right thing by the tank..so we just need to find the input that is causing the nitrate spike to try and keep it down

What is your ammonia and nitrites reading at? Normal or are they high too?
