    I think that was his answer for Alkalinity, not Magnesium. If so the dKH is only 10. That's not high at all, actually it's decent.

    When and if you ever get high ALK just let the tank run for a week or two without adding any additives and the tank will consume your excessive amount. That is what I have done in the past when the dHK got high from the Ca reactor running too much, I just shut off the reactor and let the tank run for a while.

    I am running 3.5 right now and looking to raise to 4. My personal goal is dKH of 11 to 12.
