Her's/His BC14's - Suggest a mate for a Mocha Clown - pg 9

Nice!!! I can't wait to see what you do with these BCs. Are you planning to add LEDs, Controller or ATO down the road?

Also idk if you know about inTank but they make a really nice filtration upgrades but they are well worth the $$.

I have heard of the media basket upgrades, but inTank makes some nice stuff though. I just may have to get me a couple of those. I might do the LED upgrade from RapidLED, I'm not sure just yet though. I'm not planning on a controller or ATO right now, but maybe a sump if I can get around to it in the next couple of months. Both tanks would be plummed into one sump.

 

The first real upgrade I did to my 29 was a ATO and it was well worth it! But if you sump them then you should have more stable water.

 

I figure that I sump them both together, then my wife would only have to top off the sump instead of both BC's. That way I wouldn't have to buy two ATO's lol.

 

Of just get one ATO and run it into the sump..


I might be selling mine soon, I am getting an Apex Controller soon. If you want a JBJ ATO let me know.

I just added a peppermint shrimp to my wife's BC14 to take care a little aptasia problem on the live rock in there. This is the test to see how hungry he is lol

 

What Clown to get?

Looks like tomorrow is clown shopping day lol. My wife just won some money at the casino, so I get to go the LFS lol. I need a good match for this little guy:



I don't want another mocha clown, but something that would produce a cool pattern and hopefully keep the mocha look. I was thinking a snowflake or maybe a Picasso. I'm not sure though. I was just wondering what everyone thinks.
