Lissa, my yellow tang eats the julian springs green seaweed (doesn't care so much for the red stuff), nutrafin red marine flakes, omega one veggie flakes (you should feed something with spirulina in it, or so I was told), and gets picks at the frozen hikari cubes of mysis, brine, plankton, etc... Of course I don't give him all this everyday, but I do vary it up for them. I put garlic extreme on the seaweed every other day or so, and he gets the seaweed clip every day. A good diet, lots of rockwork with hiding places, etc, will help bring back the coloration.
Again I can't tell for sure if it's an internal infection, but if it is, antibiotics are needed.

Well guys this morning the redness was very faint in some areas, and all togethere gone in others. So I decided to wait and see.
After nourishing him better I thought it was under control, didn't want to add meds if everything was getting better naturally.

This evening when I came home the redness was more noticeable and had spread to more areas. So he is now in Q.T. and I will be adding the recomended treatment of Maracyn - Two Saltwater tomorow.

Good to report that none of the others are showing any signs of this redness.;)
