Here are two pics I just took. I came home today to find these red spots on my Yellow Tang.

Is this normal ???, or is this a sign of something of concern.

All my prams. are perfect. The other fish are fine.

Please tell me what I shopuld do...if anything.

The only thing I have been doing different for a week now, is feeding every other day, to keep Nitrite / Nitrate to 0 (Formula One and Nori clip)

He looks pale. What are you feeding him?
He may just be scratching on some rock, causing that redness.
Watch for signs of bacterial infection.

I am feeding every other day Formula One and giving him 2" x 3" square of Nori.

I bought him on March 21/08

Yea, I did notice he is pale...usually a brighter yellow as in my Avatar Picture.

stress could have caused the color change

well it appears that he's a little "bleached" looking , other fish with him ? that he spars with ? and there s few 'redish" areas...i see that might be just stress.

A "normal looking" yellow tang with no stress during the day should be deep yellow
with the white bar sorta showing which yours does.

It appears that this fish is FAT , lol ( you feed often i can see )
but it looks like you have fake decor in your tank, so if your concerned or have other fish that are showing signs of spots, then you might consider some ich treatment perhaps.

but to me it just looks like he's washed out alittle in color and maybe some stress.
make sure your salinity is correct/ph, zero amonia, etc.
and perhaps changing up the diet a little may help him get his color back
or try garlic soaked foods a couple of times.
