sounds like you have done all you can...that's quite a trip for the little guy, by the way, that's a great looking piece....as you say, everything else is doing well, and this was just added...I would not be "changing" anything....give it some time...get it in a mild flow...make sure crabs and snails are not crawling around on it...possible QT, just to get it back on its feet? ...Just a thought.
    Good luck...;)

its a personal choice, but if it is stressed and needs time to recover, which is what I believe, don't you think frag'n it might be detrimental to the recovery process? Is it getting worse?..or just hang'n the same? If its getting worse, obviously worse, then I guess I would, but if its the same or so...give it time, is the best response....again, just my humble opinion.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If it were my piece I would not frag it yet.

STN and RTN does not usually start at the tips imo.

White tips to me usually means the tips lost some tissue in transport from rubbing against plastic, new growth or alk burns.

This image shows very white tips of new growth. It looks like tissue loss but is just accelerated growth.

Oh great, those are some re assuring comments.
Thank goodness I decided to take a day time rest instead of cutting it up.
It doesn't seem to be getting worse so I'll just give it some time and keep updating photos.
This piece has me so bummed that I didn't get time to post pics of the other new inhabitants.:p

    Acro isnt looking too good.
out of all the stems, only one looks save-able.
tips are white and debris from within the water column is collecting on the skeleton.
I'm stuck between a live rock and a hard place weather or not to frag it:confused:
