So my octopus hasn't been out in awhile, which wasn't really suspicious. I walk over this morning to leave an offering of food and see all these little opaque things bobbing around. At first I thought they were the worlds largest pods, but when I lifted the lid, I could see that they had tiny eyes and tentacles. I wasn't prepared for this eventuality, what do I do? How do I care for them? I'm stuck somewhere between joy and horror.

Do you have 2 octopussys? HOw did you get babies?

    Very cool none the less-

Good luck, If there are no predators/fish to eat them, maybe they'll do fine.

Well, when I purchased her I was told she was a common brown and she was pretty small so I was excited that I would get about a year with her. Turns out she's a pygmy! I'm hatching brine shrimp to see if they will eat those. There are nothing but snails and sponges in the tank with them, so the only danger to them is each other. Here's hoping they aren't cannibals!

how does one have babies when it is just a single in a tank. Maybe she was pregnant when you purchased. very odd.

    But super cool no less.

I will take some more photos tonight.

She was most likely pregnant when I purchased her.
