Help me identify this coral.

    Anyone know what this is? It came in on a rock. Seems to burrow into the rock itself.

    Looks like a type of Discosoma sanctithomae (warty mushroom), a cousin to the ricordea.

    I don't think it's a mushroom. The largest is about the size of...... a US 10 cent. when you touch them they retract into the hole that they live in/burrowed. The holes are pretty deep I think.

    they are either shrooms or anemones.

    Majano / rock anemone of some type Nothing you would want in your tank unless you keep a racoon butterfly in there also.

    I agree with tangster, some kind of Majano / rock anemone. doesnt look that bad.
