Help me identify this Blenny

    Was at the LFS this weekend and the store was stocked to the max. I have never seen the size of some of these corals they had. It was amazing, several Frogspawn that were 2 feet across, Bubble coral that was over a foot in length, 1 foot long elegance coral, and I could go on and on. They also had several fish that were amazing. Come to find out they had just purchased a 750 gallon setup from someone. I came accross this one fish that I instantly fell in love with. The store did not know what it was, some sort of Blenny. I spent the better part of the weekend searching and could not find it on the Internet. Hope someone can help. This short video clip does not do him justice.

    Looks like a lawnmower Blenny

    There are a few different types, with different colourations

    maybe something caught if it was in a tank that big.gotta have the money for a tank that big.went on a fishing trip to some caribean or hawian island.ive never seen one like that.and it looks pretty big when that regal comes by.

    I've seen this type of blenny before but I have to do a bunch of searches to get the species name for you. Give me a few minutes :)

    EDIT: After speaking with Tangster and looking around a bit, I'm going to guess short bodied blenny or gargantuan blenny. See if this site helps you for a positive id though:

    Thanks everyone, not sure it is any of the ones mentioned thus far....8) I will keep looking...He is about 5 inches long, and speckled...Looking straight at him he looks like an old man, LOL....8)

    Maybe its a Jeweled Rockskipper(Salarias Fasciatus)
