I think it's more that he thinks I can get everything handed to me because I'm a woman, lol.

its going to be hard to find a fish that will be comfortable in a 20 gallon... that wont be to small compared to a lion fish.

Honestly i would have chosen the lion fish last. but i would definitely put some trigger's in there, i love those fish but i cant put them in my reef tank.

what other fish are you thinking about adding to your 20g?

Actually ours has been quite friendly up until now. He was being fed frozen silversides and krill at the pet store and adapted pretty easily to our tank. He doesn't scuffle with the other fish, I think he just got hungry  He's been in hiding since he ate the clown, like a naughty puppy that knows he shouldn't have peed on the carpet.

Just PM me, I'll turn my laptop away from him :p

He says he would like to try doing a reef tank since our 125 is just fish and a lone anemone.

    Welcome to 3reef! :) You'll learn a lot here.

FWIW, any fish in the same tank with a lionfish is fair game if it can fit in the lionfish's mouth.

That's what I've heard. Our other clownfish is a pretty good size, as is the yellow tang. And I think Bruce (the lionfish) is more afraid of the damsels than they are of him.

Well, we started looking at some lights today and are not sure which to go with. Again, this is for a 20 gallon tall tank. Prices are about the same. Which do you think would be best for a fish and reef tank?

Most would say you get better performance and more options going the T5 route
