Yep thats bubble algae alright, i was going to point it out also, but you all beat me to the punch...lol

Ok to get rid of these, get yourself a bowl of freshwater, remove the rock from tank, and try to pull off thoes before they get out of hand.
if one breaks on you, 9they may pop if you apply too much pressure) the insides may/will cause more of them to grow, so i dip the place they spilled, or the entire rock in freshwater before placing back in the tank, to handel any spores, that may have been inside the popped piece of bubble algae.

The freshwater caused the cells to rupture, due to the salinity difference, they can not stop from absorbing water, so they will rupture/explode like there parents.... :)

wow my first post here??? im like a lurker....lol

Thanks for the info on the bubble algea, I really dont want to mess with it too much. I know it will burst, when I 1st started the tank I was going to the LFS to do research and asked the girl there what they were...she proceded to stick her hand in the tank and say "oh there harmless, look they just pop!" I knew then not to ask any more questions at that store. I knew from reading here that they spread easy.

For the second pic, that is the fuzzy mush closed after feeding, thanks da

Valonia(bubble algae) can be removed by Emerald crabs or as you mentioned.
Never seen that type of anemone in pics 1+2!
And yes, the third picture is a sponge, which is good for your tank as they are filter feeders that will remove nutrients from your water!

You've got as good an indentification so far as I can provide however, the mushroom is definitely not any type of ricordea. It's a frilly/hairy mushroom, whatever you want to call it, but it's definitely rhodactis sp. The picture of it eating only reinforces that. Keep feeding it and they will spread.

    Good luck.
