    And yes, your Mg is low. Usually something like 1250-1350 is recommended. I will keep mine anywhere between 1350-1400. If your Mg falls too low then you'll start having a hard time maintaining alkalinity and calcium.

    Typically you want to maintain your mag at 3x your calcium level. If you keep your calcium at 420 then maintain your mag at 1260-1300.
