You seem to be going in the right direction. And I see now the how the DI is hooked up and makes more sense. You are right the top clear tubes are the DI. I would keep up the manual removal of gha. As for fuge light, time will tell, as long as mangroves and cheato are doing well I would stick with the LED but if not I would switch back. Battling gha can be a long battle, just hang in there.

So as for the 2 corals there is really nothing i can do? I just noticed on the favia where the green dots in the middle of the skeleton looks like open mouths. The middle of the Duncan still glows green so i didnt know if that means its still alive or is there no hope for that either? Should i continue the water changes? Just did 10% today. Ive been doing that once a week. 20% every three weeks

If the corals still have tissue they can recover. I've seen amazing recovery on corals with very little tissue left.

Ok got u. Another question is should u keep away from mixing the different types or would they be ok as long as u give them space and place them in the right places? I have palys, a hammer, a hollywood stunner chalice, the dying duncan, a candy cane, a frag of pulsating xenia, and a green flower pot goni for now.

Bought a api master test kit and a calcium test kit. Readings come out to ph - 8.2 ammonia - 0 nitrite - 0 nitrate - 0 calcium - 480. Looks like everything is where it should be right? I plan on getting the mag, and alk when i get paid again. Do i need to get one for phosphates also?

Not really. They aren't very accurate and frankly if your seeing algae then you know they are there.

Really? I wonder if i can bring it back being that i opened it already. I dont understand how it can be inaccurate if its not expired and wouldnt they all use the same reagent chemicals to test with?
