I'm from Ohio, and I have always enjoyed aquariums. I prefer freshwater over marine, not sure why? I am new to this hobby (since I was a kid anyway). I currently have a 65 gal 36x18x24 tank set up. It fully cycled and has a full stock of fish...probably too many.
    2 silver dollar sized angels
    2 quarter sized angels
    5 Rasbora Harlequins
    5 neon
    4 pristella tetra
    2 long fin serpae tetra
    4 SAE
    2 cory
    1 male betta
    Think thats all!!!!!!
I would like to switch all my plastic plants for real ones...soon. I think they look so much better than plastic. The only concern is do I have enough light. I currently run 4x39W t5HO at 10k. I should probably switch to something like 6700k. The only problem I am having, is the brown algae (diatom) It is everywhere...name it, its on it..how to solve...I have learned alot in the month I have been doing this...but clearly I have a lot to learn.

    Thanks.;D

    Welcome to 3reef.

There a number of members that have beautiful FW planted aquariums.

Members 2in10 and JJL come to mind.
