Hello from Los Angeles

Hello Everyone! my name is Steve and I am new to the forum but not new to the hobby. I have kept a reef aquarium for about 9 years now. I currently have a 150g SPS dominated tank. I've been through a couple tank crashes and am still here for good. I am the president of the Los Angeles Reef Society (LARS). I love meeting new reefers and helping anyone that needs it. I am no expert by far, I still consider myself a rookie. I will post a couple pictures when I can but I wanted to introduce myself and say hey.

80g sump
20g refugium
12g frag tank
atb840 skimmer
2x mp40wes pumps
1 grye x150
custom LED/T5 hybrid
All controlled through an apex.

thanks, yes i have a lot of indirect flow and all three pumps are at 50%. It is very quiet with the flow i want. I believe that you can never have too much flow.

 

here is an old picture of my tank. I had to start over last april after a bad alk swing. totally my fault. quick tip... Never do any changes the day before you go on vacation. thats all i have to say about that. this pic was taken in June '14. I don't like posting many pics but i will post a few.
