    to reduce phosphates you can run granular ferric oxide, (GFO) which you might be able to find locally at a laboratory store or something. also to save you some money and time i would also run purigen in your cannister filter many use it here as well as my self its like a protein skimmer in a bag, plus you can regenerate it over and over so no re-orders when it's exhausted.

    i am running purigen in the filter it is marvelous but i am having 0.5 phosphate so thought of Rowaphos , phosban , or any good reviewed product... can u describe one Dr.? :))

    all of the above work well and in the end they are just GFO like i mentioned earlier and you should be able to find it locally. as it is used outside the aquarium world

    after looking im sure there aren't many lab stores by you lol, probably online is a better idea.
