    You're not allowed to harvest any hard corals from hawaii and you need a special permit to take soft corals from the waters. Well, you can actually take zoas and palys but it's illegal to take rocks from the ocean so you have to find specimens that aren't attached to rock.

    Hawaii fish only you could have a pretty great selection of fish, but you'd be hard pressed to find a large variety of soft or hard corals besides zoas palys and feather dusters.
