Have you ever called in sick to work on your aquarium?

never sick, but used v-time!!!

 

I wish I could. Being 100% commissioned it is pretty hard to do that bc. then I would not get paid. That is also probably why I have 4 weeks vacation saved.

I had to answer no since my girlfriend is a stay at home mom :. She does all the hard work... take care of the kids and the tank. She does however call me at the office once in a while for reef related questions so i could say i take care of the tank while i'm on the job Besides, being the only income of the house with 2 kids, i cant afford taking off work and she really does a great job with the kids and the tank.

Being an owner of my company I have gone in late, left early, and taken a few hours off during the course of the day to deal with tank issues. This was in the beginning. Since then, the tank has more-or-less established itself so any maintenance is done on the weekends.

I have warned myself many times about missing work and I always reply that if I don't like it then I should fire me.

 

I work from home as well, but I have caught myself spending more time on my tank then working, lol, but I also deal with saltwater supplies, so my work is my hobby P

 

I'd fire ya too snake, hahaha ;D

 

Not yet. But my boss sees me on 3Reef quite a bit. Asks me how my tank is going. And saidly i say. More money still no fish

 

hahaha.. hang it there. ;D it should get better!
