    very cool zesty!

I also wanted to clarify that I wasn't stating that the articles I read were fact - just were interesting. I agree in that I don't believe there has been any real scientific studies conducted to really determine the reasons behind the bubble/not bubble theories.

I would think a study would not be incredibly difficult now that I think about it. If you have the same conditions in a tank - I think someone should do it and publish their results :)

I posted on here already that mine are right next to each other and get the same light, food, flow. Sometimes they bubble sometimes they don't. Also they are a split from one nem.

well, understanding what you are saying, it would need to be a lot more controlled for it to be scientific and then replicated.

Thanks! I need to get the good camera out to take a picture of him. Very cool looking, but very weird feeling. What you don't see is about 4" behind of the tube part that is very squishy and just something you want to squeeze, but you know you shouldn't. :laughings

So cool.. are they uncommon I do not think I have ever seen one in an LFS (memory is not that great but in 20 years I would think I would remember something this cool).

I've seen them but was unsure… you haven't had any problems with them and your fish?
