Lol, for $17 you can make about 4,000 frag plugs out of portland cement, using a golf tee to punch a mold in some wet sand.

Plus, you have yet another fun thing from our hobby to junk up your garage or back deck ;)

The GM for the company gave me a handful but I never got around to using them... then this last weekend my briefcase got stolen which had those samples and others in it :(

They look kind of out of place to me, but when on a plastic eggcrate rack it all looks out of place.

I like that these lock into the eggcrate though.

I just use base rock. Smash it up with a hammer and there you go, frag plugs. Looks a hell of a lot better too, and cheaper ;)

They look like a good concept. Only warning Iv heard about plugs is to steer clear of ceramic because they leach stuff into the water. Looks shouldnt matter with plugs. When the coral overgrows them you cant see them anyway.

Not true about ceramics. That is a myth perpetrated by a single bad batch of an imported ceramic rock that was not brought to the right temp in the kiln. The ceramic plugs on the market by BAF, Gooch and Ocean Wonders are all just fine to use and don't leach stuff into your water.
