It may hurt SPS. Soft corals let off continuous slime in the water which will attach to the SPS and smother it out. I'm not 100% sure this the reason, I just know that SPS will not do too great with softies. If you really want a soft coral try to go with something like a toadstool leather or cabbage leather.

The more wavy type soft corals tend to let more goo in the water. Corals like Colt Coral and Tree coral are some of the worst. The Xenia would probably work, but it needs to be kept away from the SPS.

Yeah, just be sure to keep it away from your SPS.

Yup, pulses the same and appears to be just a hardy as the usuall pink. Its got a blue hue to it, its not drop on your knees blue. Most take the "blue" shot of xenia under 20K's or actinics to "hellp" with the blue :)

Problem with xenia, is shipping. Don't buy xenia thats not propigated in the states, and you really should buy it or aquire it locally. Join you local reef club, I bet one of the other members has it going in their tank. My club trades frags like grandmas make cookies. It always amazes how much coral is trades, rather then sold.

The green tree sinularia is one I mentoned earlier about sliming and inhibiting your sps's growth.
