Very nice! That Deresa is huge! How long did it take for it to get that size? Or did you buy it that size?

well when I got him about 1 year 7 mos ago he was about 5-6 inches, I dont know what it is that I do but clams and I seem to get along pretty well- perhaps the fact he host' a pair oc perc. clowns helps, I am not sure.

Also note my clams are in a well lighted enviroment, I use a lot of atinics 470, 454 and two fiji pink (420) and a two 6.5k bulbs, there are only 4 - non agressive (including the clown pair- they protect both clams with a level of ferosity you wouldnt belive) there is a yellow watchman gobbie and a dragon gobie in this tank, and a decent size CUC.

I only add calicum once a week, and I feed phyto plex, mico vert and, zoo plex twice a week. I add iodine once every two weeks. that's it- thats all I do.

I hope you have the same results I have.

well I wish you sucess, If you ever come across a black and white maxima- let me know :)

I bid on one that was on ebay a few weeks ago- it went for over 200 bucks and was only 3 inches- I went to 150 but then my senses returned to me- 49 dollars shipping plus 200 OUCH.

Yea not the most pleasant hit on your wallet :)
Haha I will let you know....That is if I dont snatch it for myself. :)
LOL You should check live aquaria's Diver's Den section and ThatFishPlace.com for the
B & W Maxima though! I have seen some pretty awesome clams on both sites with huge selections.
I am waiting for my LFS to get one because he does not charge me a penny for shipping. :)
